Yes, and I found the movie as a whole to be quite faithful to the truth. His work during WWII undoubtedly saved at least 10 million lives, and his early death was not only a personal tragedy but a terrible loss to the future of computing and cryptanalysis.

It's absolutely amazing the sh!t Turing had to endure especially considering his contribution to humanity. A lesser man might have just said "OK, guys, you're on your own, I'm off to Argentina." One would have thought he'd have been excused from the asinine mandated hormone treatments, ugh.

Agreed. At least they finally got around to officially exonerating him and putting up some statues to honor him in Manchester and Bletchley Park. I guess better late than never.

And, he's on a 50 pound bill now.
