disagree as well, original series should've ended with H2O, but it made some decent change & you know how greedy producers are.

Killing off Laurie in the intro also cemented this movie's status as one of the worst..possibly behind H6...add Busta Rhymes kicking Michael's a$$ and ya got a very poor, laughable sequel trying to cash in on the found footage hype at the time!

As for RZ's flick...its NOT a memorable movie...rednecking Michael's family...eh...I guess works for THIS version...but making it as violent as he did didn't keep with the spirit of the original. The THEATRICAL CUT works better then the Unrated currently on Blu Ray...having the violence magnified further AND an added rape scene...no thanks.

I'd say RZ's Halloween beats H8 by a hair..now RZ's H2?!?! Probably the bottom of the pile as far as Halloween movies goes. This new movie coming out this fall has nowhere to go but UP! I'm confident its gonna be an awesome continuation of the original.

After re-watching the entire series I must admit that this is better than Resurrection.

Not even close. This is a great remake and Resurrection is by far the worst in the franchise
