Fifty Shades darker at this time is 6.2
BvS Dawn of Justice at this time is 5.6
I know BvS is not a good movie but it has solid action scenes and some interesting ideas while fifty shades darker might just be one of the worst movies of all time.
But hey maybe I'm wrong and fifty shades is an above average film who knows... 😒

Didn't meet such high expectations. I mean you're talking about the first time two of the most recognizable fictional characters are in the same live action movie. Kind of a big deal that fans have been anticipating for a long time, maybe they're whole lives even. This shoulda least double what the Avengers made but I think people wasn't feeling how it was made. FSD on the other hand, I feel it's all about the fans and ppl who see it as pure guilty pleasure fun. I haven't seen this or the previous one but I feel like it's one of those "good for what it was" scenarios. This reminds me of one of the At the Movies shows that started with Siskel and Ebert (hopefully I'm not dating myself 😒)? The critics were talking about why they gave one of the twilight movies a thumbs up and it was basically because they thought it was entertaining for what it was. It could be like that for FSD.

I get that and I'm not sure I feel that fifty shades accomplished what it wanted to achieve either. I get that BvS was meant to be a major event in cinema history but I think people have given it way to much hate. It has some great scenes in it like the opening with Bruce Wayne in the streets of metropolis because we've never really seen Bruce saving people without the suit. It also has the best batman fight scene ever in the warehouse. The scene when Superman got nuked was great as well. The story was a good idea and wasn't executed well because we didn't see enough reasons for them to hate each other. The parts I'm most frustrated with is SPOILER ALERT the ending where you know who "dies" and the fact that wonder woman was in the film. It would've made the movie a lot better if the fight between batman and Superman was interrupted by doomsday and they were forced to work together it would've made the end fight very unique compared to most superhero movies. I think BvS will be appreciated more as the universe gets bigger since this movie had many scenes that were confusing as we haven't seen the future movies to understand them fully
