Patema and Age visit the area where Age's father had traveled. However, I don't recall them locating a body anywhere, just his journal and flying machine. They seem to quickly give up and then head back to Age's land without resolving his location.
As far as Lagos, I assume he was the guy suspended in a vat of goop? Was he left behind when Age's father left and then captured and murdered?
