It's probably no worse or maybe only slightly worse than Temple of Doom.
The correct order:-
Raiders of the Lost Ark
The Last Crusade
Temple of Doom
Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
I agree 100% with your assessment and your ranking of movies...Crystal Skull is the weakest, but not as "horrible" as everyone said it was.
Last Crusade is great MOSTLY due to how well Harrison Ford & Sean Connery played off each other! Their interactions alone tie it with Raiders as the best IMO!
It's obvious they thought they were making epic and memorable scenes like the 'restaurant greaser fight' and the 'fencing on top of moving cars', but those among others just seemed out of place and awkward and ridiculously bad. There's also the icing on the cake when the lead actress decides to drive a car off a cliff with everyone in it and she uses her psychic abilities to realize that there is a suitable tree underneath there that will catch them and support the cars weight.
Oh and Shia Le Buff (a.k.a. Shia LaBeouf) that guy is about as buff as Woody Allen and equally convincing in an action adventure movie like this.

Nope, I'd place it dead last, although The Last Crusade isn't an awful lot better.
Raiders is really the only one I love although I look at Temple of Doom from time to time.

It's garbage. Total garbage!

Last Crusade is my favourite, but Raiders is in my opinion a much better film.
I don't have a lot of love for Temple but it beats Kindom by a country mile because it still has a fully energised and engaged Ford being Indy in it.
