finished it just day before yesterday, very enjoyable and interesting (Brando actor looks way too young, although to my surprise he is older than real Brando at time of shooting), easy 8/10, so I had to watch The Godfather which I remember long and slow and sadly after many years this impression didn't change and I have to agree with Barry from TV show they should cut it significantly, so people won't sit that long in cinema (though his main reason was more screenings per day), though I would cut at least 2 episodes from TV show as well

now don't get me wrong, for movie which is 50 years old this is still OKish movie even today (which means 50 years ago it must been amazing) and gave it 7/10, but there still seem to be way too many unnecessary shots and many scenes should be shorter, for instance whole wedding, some parts of Sicily, they could clearly cut it from those 173 minutes to at least 140-150 without affecting story much with better pace, mostly singing seem pretty useless to story, I find Dog Day Afternoon, Taxi Driver or Jaws much more enjoyable/watchable, yet they are only few years newer
