Discuss Nurses on the Line: The Crash of Flight 7

Most biographies of J-Lo point to her role in “Selena” (1997) as her cinematic breakthrough. Some will point to 1995’s “My Family” as her first part in a major motion picture. But this little known 1993 made-for-TV movie, which was originally titled “Nurses on the Line: The Crash of Flight 7,” was the lively Latina’s first role in a full-length film, and it is amazing to see how reserved and in the background she was. There’s almost no hint of the star power she would later gain. Fortunately, some rather good acting by Wagner and Loggia makes this an okay production, but seeing J-Lo like a fish out of water is worth it two decades later.
