I thought Shia was amazing in this movie, an Oscar worthy performance. I think he is a douchebag but he certainly can act. The movie was slow but it really showed what some soldiers go through with PTSD.

Man Down is one of those rare films that puts you into the consciousness of another person. It seems most critics weren't ready for that.
One of the most underrated film of 2016. Only wish it was shot a little better.

I have to say this was a very good and emotional movie. Shia was awesome and you can love him or hate him but the guy can act. When the whole movie comes together at the end it real made me sit there and think about our men and women serving and the hardships they must go through. This is real and it needs to be recognized.

Not doing well on Rotten Tomatoes...but this is just one more reason why message boards are important. Real people can get together and talk about what they liked about movies that rate poorly, or what they hate about movies that rate well.
