Going OT: Have you seen the trailer for Captain Marvel, and what was it like: I'm bedridden due to partial hip replacement surgery and getting a pacemaker (all within a 6 week period, so I can't go out for a while. Could you please lee know? Thanks.

If you like superhero movies, then it's fun to watch and it'll probably be the second highest successfull movie in 2019 after "Avengers: Endgame (2019)".
As there are so many MCU movies now, I've grown tired and bored. It's become all the same - still great action - just a different flavour.
Personally, I enjoyed "Alita: Battle Angel (2019)" more. And of course "Aquaman (2018)".
@wonder2wonder Thanks! I think that I might be able to go see Captain Marvel in a couple of weeks. Meanwhile, maybe I'll watch Avengers Infinity Wars on my phone, even though I'm mad that Doctor Strange and Black Panther (who won 3 Oscars, hooray!) got killed. BTW, is it true that Idris Elba's character got killed? Also, on my medical information on form, I have it listed that I'm aTrekkie and a Cumberbabe. You should have seen the reaction of the nurses at the hospital where I had the cardiac procedures when they read that!

As you know, no one really dies permanently in the Marvel Universe. Whenever there's a new movie, 'dead' characters will return if necessary.
There are countless time lines, parallel and alternate universes (and multiverses) and whatever else the writers can think of.
And with aliens like Skrulls (shapeshifters) around, you won't even know who is who.

One of the main reasons I went to see it was for the chance to see Jason Mamoa half naked.

The girl with whom I saw this movie really was attracted to the guy, his long hair and tattoos.

I certainly was attracted to all of Aquaman's hair, body, and tattoos. That's probably because I'm a woman and I have good taste in superheroes.

SPOILERS: Here are all the Avengers who just died in Infinity War – and why it might not matter

Did they ask what a Trekkie and Cumberbabe was?

Yes, they did. So with as straight a face as I could muster, I explained. Some people get it and laugh, and some people think that I'm a lunatic.
