But this is it, isn't it? The first response I get to this inquiry is "hated it", consistent with the reviews I've been reading. So, where on earth are all these high ratings coming from?

And you'd think that, given the overwhelmingly negative reviews, anyone who did swim against the current and decide for themselves that they liked it would be quick to chime in why.

Would love to hear some defense of these ratings.

I stopped trusting online ratings since the Captain Marvel incident. I only trust word of mouth.

You can ask the same question about "The Munsters (2022)", which has a 64% rating here on TMDb and that movie has even more negative reviews.

It seems like there are more users here who prefer to give a positive rating.

Blonde features Ana de Armas in several topless scenes and I'd still rather sit through The Munsters again, that's how bad Blonde is.
