Discuss Cop Car

Solid movie. Fun, tense at times, tight story but with enough cinematic mood. More like this please indie people.

Yeah this was good. The two kids were irritatingly stupid at times but when I think about this generation it wouldn't surprise me if they were accurate portrayals. Bacon was awesome as usual. I agree that we need more films like this & I'll take 'em over the recent Hollywood schlock any day.

Totally agree. The boys' stupidity was probably the film's biggest issue. But other than that, it's a really well made and enjoyable thriller.

I was surprised to learn that the director (Jon Watts) also directed the recent horror movie Clown, which is about a dad who puts on an old clown costume that turns him into a child-killing clown. That movie is also very good and worth a watch, though it's noticeably lower budget than Cop Car.

i agree this film was quite enjoyable. two things happened that took me out of the film though. the first was how unfazed the two boys were by finding a blood soak man in the boot of the car (pretty jaded, yet i am supposed to believe they were naive enough to untie him). the second was the cop getting up from multiple abdominal shotgun wounds to continue the chase.

damn tho. talk about bent cop!

I don't know if the boys being stupid is so out of character... kids are pretty stupid anyway, still growing...

I didn't like Clown. That clown monster was too easy to defeat.
