Bespreek Battle Royale

I do and I found it quite amusing. Even though they both contain the ridiculous premise of society allowing children to fight to the death, I do believe each story remains unique. Granted, though The Hunger Games reasoning behind holding such a twisted contest is somewhat more palatable, its still a pretty stupid reason. However, Battle Royale just seems more cheesy. The kids were being unruly so lets just have them kill each other. Huh? Sounds like a jaded teacher's frustrated daydream after dealing with a bunch of brats all day. A funny notion in passing but completely ridiculous in practice. Anywho, I still found the film to be somewhat entertaining despite its moronic premise. Plus the fact that it had a somewhat cult following makes it worth a watch.
