بحث Beauty and the Beast

But with $170 mill in the first weekend and another $88 this weekend, Disney found yet ANOTHER way to print its own paper! Expect Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Lion King and ALL other animated classics remade live action! I for one will not give them another dime! Oh wait, i didn't with this one either...I bought tickets for Kong and snuck into B&tB with my daughter...and thank GOD I did, that was a brutal sit through. Only redeeming actor was Kevin Kline! Luke Evans was OK, but he couldn't do much with the character...he HAS to be one dimensional.

I didn't like it nearly as much as I hoped I would, and I agree that Kline was the best part.

Nice...so you stole from all the people that put a couple of years of their lives to produce this film and gave it to people who didn't produce it. Nice example for your daughter.

Yes I did...so there!

I'm sure Disney didn't miss my measly $16 considering the box office numbers...I don't think anyone on the production is gonna starve to death anytime soon. lol

Disney sucks... but like all big studios, they're not willing to gamble on new ideas. They're running Star Wars into the ground too.

I was hoping to watch this if it was good. But a lot of people seem to be sour about it... I remember loving the animated film from the 90s as a kid.

Might consider going to see Life instead. Not sure yet.

It's still stealing.

So...just to be clear...jorgito2001 thinks that going into a theatre to watch a film that has been produced by hundreds of people over years of their life is okay to give the money to people that din't work on it.

I'm sorry...Kong is produced by Warner Brothers. Is Warner Brothers a "charity case" or are they not part of a multi-billion dollar conglomerate as well?

I thought it was fine, but that's basically code for disappointment because when you're remaking a classic, you gotta make it great and some of the musical numbers and CGI just fell really flat.

I'm trying to go for an engaging, funny youtube channel so, if you have the time, take a look. Hope you enjoy what you see. Thanks in advance. https://youtu.be/AD4MjlFtI4k

I guess after The Jungle Book made hand over fist, Disney has found their meal ticket and since Beauty and the Beast is now the 12th all-time highest domestic grosser, they don't even have to try any more, which really sucks.

You know what? This is a general comment to those who were disappointed that it didn't live up to their expectations. It stinks that you didn't like it. Everyone's entitled to their opinion. I liked it but if it didn't meet your expectations, meh too bad you wasted a few dollars and a few hours. But I see that some expressed a little strongly their dislike of this film because it didn't live up to the animated one and sometimes I think, "Hmm is it that serious?"

But then again if Disney screws up The Lion King I'll pretty much boycott all the things Disney. Lol, maybe.

I just want more movies in the MONSTERVERSE..the next being Godzilla 2! I';d rather support that Universe then Disney's new cash cow...half assed Live Action movies of their animated classics.

You didn't name a single reason why BATB live action was horrible

You're being incredibly obtuse. You know he/she meant the original Disney animated film.

On purpose I assume. Which is much better stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye
