Item: Jurassic Park

Language: en-US

Type of Problem: Incorrect_content

Extra Details: I humbly request (beg) that the tag of "horror" be added to the genre of Jurassic Park. While I 100% agree it is an Adventure and Science Fiction film I would argue that it is just as much (if not more) a horror film. Spoiler-y points below: The opening where an unseen creature drags a man into its cage and kills him. The entire T-Rex paddock sequence complete with ripples in the water cup, a lawyer getting eaten whilst on a toilet, the goat leg falling on the roof, the king dino trying to eat the children.
The raptors hunting their handler and being clever girls just before they kill him. The arm of Sam Jackson on Dr. Sattler's shoulder, only it isn't attached to his body... The raptors in the kitchen, opening doors, stalking their jello loving prey. Honestly from the midpoint on this is a full on horror film that has a thrilling cold open and slow burn lead up to the big show. In closing, I would say that if any other animal or mythic creature were used in place of dinosaurs this would 100% be considered a creature feature horror film. Jaws is listed as a horror film (which it is) but Jurassic Park has just as many horror elements and deserves to be acknowledged as one alongside king Spielberg's other creature feature horror film. I know most (all) other movie databases don't consider this a horror film (RT at least gives it a "Mystery & Thriller" tag) but just think, TMDB could be the trailblazer! Help me moderators, you're my only hope.
