Most boxing movies have the theme of some level of redemption or comeback. A boxer hits the down and outs and makes the unbelievable comeback (Rocky, Southpaw, The Fighter, etc.). this one centers around a boxer that broke his neck in a horrific car accident when he was still the champion. Dude was determined to get back in the ring even though he knew that one wrong hit and he might be paralyzed. Have to give Vinny Pazienza credit for even attempting to get back in the ring. MIles Teller did a pretty good job portraying him and the boxing action was also well done. Much better than the Roberto Duran biopic that came out last year. Hands of Stone. Interestingly enough Pazienza fights Duran in this movie.
