as an aside, Belfry is only 2 and a little hours from Livingston. Beth drives slow.

wonderful movie just the same, tho you have to like Kelly's style .

Yes, to me it was quite obvious. If it were mere loneliness then she could have met people/made friends in town or in that classroom...then to drive all that way... for what?

I thought the women were going to be interacting somehow- their lives / stories intertwined . The movie fell completely flat to me. I wanted and was expecting more- anything to happen.

The movie should have been called Certain Men because their story lines/characters were more interesting.
