Bad news for comedy fans as we can confirm that "The House" with Amy Pohler and Will Ferrell will not screen for the press. You know what this means.

Well it didn't look that good from the trailer.

I saw it after release and while not great, it was not so bad they could not have screened it. It is like a series of SNL sketches. The concept of them running a home Casino is fun, but the stuff in between is what does not work. In a sketch where it would be a series of 15 min segments it would work. But you have to pad it out and that is where the best stuff is lost.

The entire plot made zero sense. Take out student loans, and the parents could play them off when they have money.

It wasn't the greatest but it wasn't meant to be, it's a nice lazy Sunday afternoon if you haven't got anything better to do. I'm going to give it a 2 out of 5. It's not the worst thing in the world.

It tickled my Will Ferrel funny bone (not in a creepy way). I liked his numbers phobia. "Fifty million dollars!".
