One of the greatest westerns ever. Plus, one of the greatest western theme music ever! A rare American remake of an Asian film that turned out just about as good as the original.
I have attempted to watch this at least 3 times up to the scene where a dad wants to cut his daughter's hair. Just can't seem to finish it, I don't remember why.
I do love Rashomon (thanks to my teacher, made us watch Hidden Fortress & Rashomon) than Hidden Fortress.
And I have read good things about Seven Samurai - is it easily to get into it? Continue watching?

Have you seen the new M7 yet? I haven't and was wondering how it compared to the Yul version.
