Barbie is a silly and harmless movie, mildly entertaining but eventually hollow and empty. Viewers that consider it even remotely as something more that that are the same superficial and overly sentimental people that express exaggerated tenderness towards viral videos of cute animals. It's a cultural affliction, mostly among young tik-tok generation, that unless they exaggerate their emotion it doesn't count. Especially if it's something that presented as simple and righteous, completely ignoring any possible real world complexity behind it.

But seriously, all that debate about wokeness, patriarchy and whatever that this movie caused is embarrassing and stupid, because this movie is mostly just a superficial and stupid comedy.
