Fans of Juliette Binoche should look out for this, probably her most obscure film. She was in Singapore promoting Clouds of Sils Maria when she visited Singaporean filmmaker Eric Khoo, with whom she share a publicist. During their chat he offered her a role in his segment of 7 Letters, an anthology film produced to celebrate the 50th year of Singaporean independence. She accepted there and then - even though the role required her to smoke (she had quit just a couple of months previously!)

It's a brief appearance in Khoo's segment 'Cinema' - but she is, of course, unmistakable. When I saw the film I was unaware that she was in it and wondered who this Juliette Binoche lookalike was!
