The movie predict how the characters Barry and Helen will get killed by the fisherman. One example is in the scene where Barry gets his car stolen by the fisherman and then gets run over with it, Barry is laying on the ground apparently injured. As the fisherman exits Barry's car and walks over to him, he stands over Barry and takes the hook that he stole from the fish shack where he killed Max out of his slicker. Which brings me to the scene where Barry is killed at the 1997 Croaker Queen pageant. The fisherman sneaks up behind Barry, knocks him to the floor, and stabs him to death with his hook as Helen unsuccessfully attempts to help him. See what I'm getting at? Barry was laying on the floor while the fisherman stood over him.

Another example involves Helen's death. In the scene where Helen and Julie are in Missy Egan's house, Helen turns around and is startled by a black slicker hanging on a coat rack. Which brings me to the scene where Helen is killed in the alley during the town's 4th of July parade. As Helen is running down an alley, she stops for a moment and looks back to see if the fisherman is behind her. Which apparently is a very bad idea in a horror movie. As Helen turns back around, she finds the fisherman right in front of her, and the fisherman shoves her into a stack of tires, and after a brief scuffle, well, I think it's clear what happens next. See what I'm getting at? Helen turned around to find the killer in the black slicker.
