But this cheese has taste. I rewatched today because it's leaving the Criterion Channel. The fact it's on here at all is because it was directed by Soderbergh . I'm a big fan of this one. I saw it years before I saw the film noir classic it's a remake of, Criss Cross. I big overuse of color filters but it looks great. All the performances were fine. I get the story is a bit muddled but no more so that the original. I wish they made little crime dramas like this again. The standout scene is when Gallagher is in the hospital and he's trying to figure out if the man in the hallway is out to get him.
