This was a really fun movie, watching the plot unfold , and even just to look at. The colors are so vibrant and mesmerizing throughout. And I genuinely laughed a lot at the humor. I love a good satire. I definitely got a feminist vibe from the story and some more obvious lines from the film. I don't consider myself a feminist, even so I enjoyed those aspects of The Love Witch and it didn't feel pushy or over the top at any point. The tampon scenes were hilarious, because every woman knows that as such a familiar and regular part of life, so to see that on screen with her saying how most men have never seen a used tampon just made me laugh. Even though it's not necessarily true I took it as more tongue in cheek than preachy. I am so happy that people still write and direct films like this, amongst a sea of remakes and Fast and Furious /Taken/ Insert a comic book thing here -part 10. Thank you , Love Witch! If only I could rock blue eyeshadow like you do!
