That's what this movie seems like: a more budget friendly generic Conan. Shame it turned out as mediocre as it did. The original with Arnold had just about everything right: great music, great cast an interesting story, but none of that is to be found here. A poor, bland and forgettable cast. Generic music you won't even notice during the movie and a silly uninteresting story. I remembered watching this about a decade ago and it was so forgettable and generic that the only thing I could remember that there was some kind of a witch in it. Looks like it didn't do any wonders for the director Marcus Nispel either whom since directing this movie only seems to have one directing credit four years after this one and nothing after that.
