My favourite scene in the film, Katherine was rushing back, soaking wet from the rain and confronted by the boss why she was always missing and why it took her 40 minutes for a restroom break. I just cried with her when she burst into tears about how far she has to go just to pee & about the coffee pot etc.
I read it didn't really happen to her and was inspired by Mary Jackson's experience. Great scene though!

That was a great scene. I also liked the accompanying quote: "We all pee the same color here at NASA."
One thing that did confuse me though was why take all those ledgers all the way to the bathroom? I mean, I know it's a half-mile away, but it's not like you are doing math while you are shuffling across campus. I wonder if she still took ledgers to the restroom when she used a closer one. Maybe it's an efficiency thing (or an inefficiency thing depending on your perspective!). :)

Speaking of coloured bathrooms, at one hotel-restaurant here in the Netherlands, when I took a bathroom break, it was TOTALLY PINK.

Yeah, followed by hammering the restroom sign was awesome. I guess just added more to her scene like visually to see her running in heels while carrying heavy books, just to show how she was hardworking and add more pressure - likie deadlines were needed before the deadline lol
