Inspired by true events, this is a story about what happens when two outsiders from opposite corners of the world are thrown together: Brazil and Germany. Marten Brueckling, a retired music teacher from Germany, has inherited an original sheet of music from Bachs son. Marten has to collect the sheet in person in the beautiful Baroque city of Ouro Preto in the heart of Brazil. But Brazil is not for beginners: Funny circumstances drives hm to teach music to the kids of a juvenile detention center. Bachs music and Brazilian instruments mix perfectly. One of the kids is Fernando, a lovable, abandoned boy, who lived on the streets. But Marten discovers that they have more in common as he thought.

Der frühere Musiklehrer Marten Brückling erhält die überraschende Nachricht, dass er von einem alten Jugendfreund ein Original-Notenblatt von Johann Sebastian Bachs Sohn geerbt hat. Besagter Freund lebte jedoch schon seit einiger Zeit in Brasilien, weswegen Marten persönlich nach Südamerika reisen muss, um das kostbare Stück entgegenzunehmen. Am Ziel angekommen, erhält er das Notenblatt und ist schon fast wieder auf der Heimreise, als ihm sein gesamtes Hab und Gut – mitsamt Papieren und Notenblatt – geklaut wird. Der Einzige, der ihm helfen kann, ist Candido der Deutsch spricht und in einer Jugendstrafanstalt arbeitet. Im Gegenzug soll Marten allerdings den Insassen der Anstalt Musikunterricht geben. Notgedrungen willigt er ein und merkt schon bald, auf welche Freude und Leidenschaft er bei den Kindern stößt.

Marten (Edgar Selge) é um professor de música alemão que chega em Ouro Preto, no Brasil, a fim de resgatar uma partitura original composta por um dos filhos de Bach. Na cidade, o professor se envolve em algumas confusões e será ajudado pelo mineiro Candido (Aldri da Anunciação). Com o tempo, o organizado Marten terá que se adaptar à rotina brasileira e Candido o incentivará a dar aula de música para crianças da cidade. Aos poucos, ele reaprende o prazer e alegria e ensinar às crianças que estavam até então desorientadas.
