just saw it today as well. it was good. jr did an excellent job as did the rest of the cast. it was very well done.

Agreed. It was very well done. The acting was top notch and so was the story. I really enjoyed it. Probably the best film Ive seen this year. I hope it gets recognized in someway during awards season.

Also must say that the despite the fact it's slow moving, it really does offer a whole new look at a part of America we don't know much about and does so in the frame of a very intense thriller. Cast is fantastic here too.

This flew completely under the radar for me. Once I saw it was TS writing and directing, I ran out to catch it at the cinema.

Excellent film, one of the best of the year so far, the final act was incredible, had me on the edge of my seat. Jon Berenthal popping up with a cameo was nice surprise.

Looking forward to TS next film, that's 3 for 3 in the writing department and 1 for 1 in directing.

I liked it, but it wasn't as good as I'd anticipated. I think my expectations were quite high after Sicario and Hell or High Water, and the way the trailer presented the film. I was expecting something a little more sinister and mysterious than what the ending ended up being. Taylor Sheridan has a nice streak going though.

I agree, was slightly dissapointe as well. overall i think there is nothing new here, but at least it passes as a descent movie. SPOILER ALERT: woulda been more cool if the father was the one out for revenge, using some hidden native american hunt skills.
