I've yet to see a film that so blatantly rips off the aesthetic employed in Amelie as this. The music, the color pallet, the style of cinematography, and even much of the narrative itself. Both films feature a disconnected loner as cute, quirky, single woman yearning for the elusive man-mate while going to great lengths to connect. Both leads even have an older man friend as a neighbor (both artists).

There are even more similarities and if I didn't already know, I would have sworn this was made by the same director as Amelie.
