This movie was very good! I won't discuss anything until more have seen it. I don't want to ruin anything!!
The ending took me by surprise, I enjoyed it and suspense was really good! Did have to think about what exactly happened though lol, I wasn't 100% sure but on second viewing it all makes sense. Love a twist ending!
I also didn't see it coming, it made me believe it was a ghost. It's bad writing to lead us to thinking it was and not showing proper facts, but anyway it's a touching story.
Is this the Spanish version of 'Flowers in the Attic'?
Despite the name and country of production, this features a largely British cast as a family who move from England to the US to escape a past event, with Spanish locations used (unconvincingly) as the US. IIRC (I saw it around a year ago) it does have that "Attic" vibe, but otherwise isn't similar.

Thanks. After reading the description, FITA was the first thing that came to mind.
