It's rare that you find a movie that actually gets better during the last half of the second act. I just wished it had more imagination overall, better characters and a bigger budget. Otherwise it was an okay film once you can get passed the first half. Why would you want to though?

Hollyweird makes thousands of movies that have a dynamite first half, then flop like a burst balloon in the second half. I'd rather find a film that challenges me to like it...then actually delivers the goods, even if they aren't Great.. So, you want a movie with (slightly) better characters and a bigger budget? Take a look at "Better Start Running," which looks subpar in the beginning, but has something to say in the second half.
