It was ok. Nothing original. Kids in peril, generic Russian special ops badguy merc, CGI fire all over the place. Preposterous plans resulting in improbable stunts, omg he’s jumping from that crane with a fake leg!!!
Adam Sandler throws a fart joke cartoon at the thing and derails everyone’s plans.
“ WHAT DID WE MAKE? HOW MUCH WAS THIS BUDGET??? SANDLERRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!”
Yah, its the summertime and Thanos controls reality and the tots control the box office.
And maybe before you gamble that your 128 mil action flick can beat a vampire loveboat fart joke movie, You should check to see if the kids are back in school.
I thought it was worth the popcorn, I saw it at the drive-in playing with the latest Purge movie. Great double feature at the drive-in, reminds me of the olden days when you would see three horror movies From like 1973 and although none of em were that great by themselves, in a package deal it was pretty cool.
Everybody is gonna rent this thing, its gonna be a tax write off for some giant corporations, the crew got a paycheck, and the Rock is just gonna shrug it off.
Not a big deal.

Sweeeeet...that's an awesome double feature. BOTH movies were definitely "Drive-In" material, as neither needed 100% full attention & are just "popcorn" movies...just like movies made for the Drive-Ins back in the day!
Don't underestimate the power of a kid franchise though...Hotel Transylvania's got legs (hardly on Adam Sandler's merit..he's relegated himself to horrible Netflix originals..and they are HORRIBLE!) I LOL'd many times at the 1st & 2nd movie...though my kids finally "grew up" right on time cause the monsters on vacation/at the beach does NOT interest me in the least!
