MrCharming, I don't know anything about the new movie Glass. But in the event you happen to need an Anya Taylor-Joy fix, she's the star of the 2017 British t.v. miniseries The Miniaturist. (PBS in the States broadcast it during 2018.)

Anya is bilingual (English and Spanish). She herself considers her accent as natural English (British) - "That’s what I sound like to myself" - because she grew up in London learning to speak it when she was eight. Before that she spoke Spanish (Argentinian).

As she is quite good at mimicking accents, easily switching from posh to cockney, an American accent is a piece of cake for her.

I had no idea that her natural accent wasn't American as I've only seen her in Split, Thoroughbreds, and Glass.

After watching those interviews, her real accent sounds more Scottish than English to me. I don't know if that has to do growing up in multiple countries blending the accents together or if her accent was influenced by her father having Scottish heritage. According to Wikipedia, he is Scottish-Argentine.

She is known as the hot alien looking chick on 4chan. I first saw her in The Witch as many others have. She looked cute, but I was more blown away by her acting skills.

It's interesting how actresses in particular are made to look so amazing in films, but when you see how they wear their hair/makeup/etc. IRL, they don't look nearly as good.

She normally looks like as.s with blonde hair. That long dark straight hair and the way it was styled in this was very complimentary of her odd features.

My first thought was that she resembles the creature from Splice.

She is pretty fine I agree. I wish I could find a version of her that was about 60-70 pounds heavier though. That would really be sexy in my opinion.
