This bit of plot seems unresolved: if Diana had been turned into a big rock by her rival, I guess we are supposed to accept that the rock has been sitting in the room for forty years? It seems unlikely that the hotel management would never notice it - but ok, that's not really important. (It was too big to move?) It's just that the witches never seem to comment about where the rock has been in all that time.
To digress a bit: it seems that the segment ends about where it should begin. Well, I know the whole point is Ted the bellhop and his dalliance with Eva. But the more promising part is the Rip Van Winkle aspect. What does Diana do when she's realizes she's forty years into the future? How do the witches even tell her about that and what do they propose for her to do next?
