Indie horror at its best. Loved the Witch, slow but really impactful.

YEAH.I WAS BORED.HOWEVER THE DAMN FLICK IS STILL STUCK IN MY HEAD.

It was actually pretty good. Very slow, but that was to be expected, even the trailer told you that basically. The acting was top notch, very subtle touches here and there. The lead girl was really good. But the best character was basically the location, very beautiful and creepy at the same time. Really made you feel the isolation. The end is open to interpretation, some people will like that, others not so much.

I loved the film. And thankfully it ends well.

Actually, considering that these were actual circumstances in the 1800s, this is not a 50-50 interpretation. This article goes into the details of the conditions.

Well Prairie Madness dosent explain demon smoke monsters shapeshifters. So I think its still very much up to interpretation.
