Discuss Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins

No wonder Japan is such a civil society - everyone is carrying a katana sword and is not afraid to use it! It's the japanese version of a leatherman tool or a swiss army knife. You need something slashed...say no more the katana will service you nicely in any situation in or outside the home.

Anyways, the repeated sword fights got a bit old in this. Call me old fashioned, but I think those sword fights work much better when they are used in some sort of a dramatic ending or at least used somewhat more scarcely like, say, in the original Highlander movie.

Also Samara Weaving looked like she didn't want to be in this movie at all. In fact it looked like she thought she was shooting her generation's version of 'Battlefield Earth' with a contemporary asian John Travolta in the lead based on the look of disinterest and disgust on her face throughout this movie.
