Not because of the topics like mental health issues it delves into. No because it is very hard to watch someone act like a complete nut job for the entirety of the movie while everyone around her seems to act like it is no big deal and it's normal. Good grief did that screaming and spazzing around get old during the first 90 minutes. I'm not sure a lot if it made any sense either. I know, in a movie about ghosts and visions from the past you probably shouldn't expect much logic, but I have to wonder how she has issues finding this "Sandie" when she knows where she worked and apparently this place was something of a London hotspot where dozens of men who visited said place mysteriously vanished into thin air yet the police seem to have no recollection of said events. I'm also a little perplexed how quickly "Sandie" goes from aspiring singer into turning tricks and again into a highly successful serial killer. I'm not sure about the ending either. Good old "Sandie" decides it's time she got her groove back and quickly gets back into her Mike Myers slashing escapades only to see herself in a mirror and to decide that it there has been enough slashing already and it is time to sit in a burning room to kill herself. Her last thoughts in that room were probably"K. THNX. BYE!". Luckily we are treated to such a happy ending where looney girl (I forgot her name already) has copied some basic dresses from the sixties and is widely cheered for her efforts. Kind of like taking part in an architecture competion and presenting a kid's Lego set of the Leaning tower of Pisa and hoping nobody realizes it is not your design. Luckily all her previous nutjobbery like trying to stab someone in the head with scissors is apparently all forgotten and forgiven because reasons.

Also, while I'm here I have to say that the lead actresses boyfriend is one goofy looking dude. Not hating on him and instead I applaud him because I don't think it is easy getting into a mainstream looking like that and I sure as heck couldn't pull that off. Reminds me off the dude who played Bruce Willis' kid in Unbreakable (and that crappy sequel)....boy that was one weird looking dude also.

This movie is a hard watch

Now you have a sense of what it was like to be in Black Philip's shoes, when Anya Taylor Joy slipped out of her clothes for him in The Witch

Not the douchebag looking fellow that was pimping out Sandie. I mean the goofy looking and sounding fashion designing and coke can stealing fellow.
