Extra information.

The working title "RRR" for the movie was an initialism for the names of the director Rajamouli and the two stars Ram Charan and Rama Rao Jr..

Later "RRR" meant "Roudram Ranam Rudhiram" (in Telugu) or "Rise Roar Revolt" (in Hindi and English).

Excerpt from What does RRR mean? SS Rajamouli answers:

For the unaware, RRR has two full forms - Roudram Ranam Rudhiram in Telugu and Rise Roar Revolt in Hindi and English. Director SS Rajamouli, along with Ram Charan, Jr NTR and Alia Bhatt made an appearance on The Kapil Sharma Show in December 2021. That’s where Kapil asked Rajamouli why he named his film RRR. And the ace director had a great explanation for this.

He shared, “In the beginning, we didn’t know what to put the title as, so we thought we should refer to the project as RRR because of - Ram Charan, Rama Rao (Jr NTR) and Rajamouli. We started putting hashtags as RRR and the response of the audience was overwhelming so we kept RRR as the title.”
