When I first started watching I was excited The Matrix was back but as the film progressed, I started getting more and more angry at this movie and then finally lost interest at the half way mark. I saw this move before with all the films we grew up with that we loved now getting the woke treatment with a lame retelling of the same movie for a new audience while bring old characters back to link them to new actors. Woke Terminator, Woke Star Wars, Woke Ghostbusters and now semi-woke The Matrix. No, this film wasn't the worst but it also wasn't great. I understand why Lawrence Fishburne sat that one out. Keanu Reeves and Moss should have did the same. All the actors around them was from the generation of woke (aka self absorbed, superficial, bad acting) and badly cast. Keanu/Carrie-Anne Moss was above this crap and without their natural acting that gets you involved, the movie would seem like one of those cheap looking low budget sci-movies on Netflix that rip off The Matrix. Unfortunately they don't save it. I would tell you to avoid it but the problem is I spent my money on this crap and I want you to suffer also so go out and see it lol.
