The movie feels small, no other way to say it. If you take this movie and make a list of scenes, there are no huge, grandiose action scenes that involve really big production. Everything that happens is on a very small scale and happens in very confined environment with very few actors and mostly with a lot of CGI. I mean, it feels like either Marvel just doesn't try anymore, or their budgets really got cut.
Besides unimpressive production, the story also seems to lack any creativity. It's basically just another fan service, a nostalgic look into the past and closing lose ends. Even if the idea of a multiverse is nice, the small scale of writers' thinking just closed them from really going wild with the interesting concepts. The writing is so basic, so repetitive, so familiar and hollywoodish. The movie is comfortably boring, everything is familiar but still not annoying, there are still few laughs and decent thrills. And although the question "is that all there is?" starts to lurk under the surface, the viewers still repress it and still can enjoy couple of hours of the fan service delivered to them. We all live in familiar and comfortable boredom, but why does our entertainment have to be the same too?

It actually reminded me the first Fantastic Four movie from 2005. It also felt a lot like small and controlled sets on minimum budget, just to film what's on storyboard and then hope something can be done in post. Really disappointed by the low level of imagination and the lack of ambition in this new Spider-man.
I really liked Homecoming, it was fun and thrilling adventure. And really disliked Far From Home, it was absolute nonsense on every level. This one is somewhere in between.

I thought this was the worst one of the trilogy. I didn't much care for the second one but some of the action scenes with mysterio were fun. What made the first film fun was the interaction between Iron Man and Spider-Man and I also really liked the villain in that film. They should have found a way to write Vulture into this script.
