They are added to the correct translation; the trailers have hardcoded English subtitles.

Ok, makes sense, but what is considered the main trailer for the US version on both the website and the API is not the English speaking one. I understand leaving those with subtitles, but they should not be used as the main one.

Is it possible to set a main trailer like what can be done with posters/backgrounds?

I don't think there is.
