True, but by that logic so are any incendiary bombs they use, compressed air weapons, or any other ammunition for that matter. Might as well resort to car jousting... Actually, that could make for an interesting film...!

It's a way of showing wealth. Big engines and fuel to burn represents power. The guy playing the guitar is blind yet he has the coolest flame thrower and aggressive musical riffs to influence the war party.
