So, on rewatching the film I noticed that the final shot (or one of the final shots) has him in bed with who we had come to believe was his murdered "wife" but there is a new tattoo on his chest under the one that said "John G raped and murdered my wife" saying "I did it". When we see him earlier in the film this tattoo is not there (the "I did it" one) and I don't remember seeing any "cover-up" tattoos that would have been over it. I'm going to go back and check, but I'm a bit confused about that.
