First Asian cinema gives us the Parasite, then European cinema gives us the Triangle of Sadness, and now Hollywood responds with No Hard Feelings. All jokes aside, the movie may not be the pinnacle of social commentary and political satire, like the other two mentioned movies are, but it is a watchable movie to pass the time with one good scene (it's the piano song scene if it's not clear to someone). This mildly entertaining and not very funny movie still manages to find those overused cliché points and uses those stereotypical and so familiar sentimental manipulation to bring enough interest and emotions to this rather simple and flat story. The twist is the nude fight on the beach scene, which was a nice touch as well.

It's not bad for average Hollywood product, just one of the many that came before and will come again in the future. Cult it is not, original it is definitely not. Watch it once on some streaming service and quickly forget about it while we grab some cash from you, that's the true Hollywood answer.
