... Easily Carpenters worst film... So far for me.
I'm going through his films I never got round to seeing yet, In the Mouth of Madness is next on the list and then I think I've seen them all, but this is so dull and badly acted... I'm 14 minuets from the end and I can't wait for for the credits to roll...

A good second entry in the Apocalypse trilogy by Carpenter (The Thing,Prince Of Darkness and In the Mouth Of Madness ) This together with They Live are probably two of Carpenter's most underrated films. Also it make kind of sense this is the second part The thing is about the horror of an alien life form (SF),Prince Of darkness is a blend of the alien(SF)(the messages from the future who manifest themselves in dreams) and the Lovecarftian and In The Mouth Of Madness which is pure Lovecraft.
