Ci riesce grazie ai preziosi servigi di Francis, che ascolta dialoghi riservati nei posti più disparati e li riferisce al padrone. Durante un'inchiesta su un capomafia, questi viene mistreriosamente ucciso: è ancora una volta Francis ad assicurare alla giustizia il vero colpevole.
