I've finally gotten around to watching this. Starting the movie, it took me a while to warm to, as the story didn't initially grab me, though ultimately the excellent nuanced performances by Sophia Myles as Isolde and Rufus Sewell as Marke got me on board. (I thought James Franco, as Tristan, was alright, but kind of bland.) I've been a Sewell fan for years, though this is the first time I've ever seen any of gorgeous Myles' work.

Outstanding action sequences in this. Also, lovely score and striking cinematography, plus great sets and costuming; the production's look is top notch.

Something about I'm not sure whether the Franco performance or perhaps the script, however, leaves things ultimately feeling like the film falls a little short and doesn't quite reach its full potential. Nonetheless, I, overall, enjoyed it.
