Discuss Barbarian

... I have to point out a horror flick to demonstrate great film making/ story telling. Once upon a time, horror flicks were the throwaway films of the industry. Sure, they were fun in a cheap thrill sorta way and yes every once in a while the genre did produce true classics (ie. The Exorcist or Jaws) but for the most part the were the low man on the totem pole of film making. Which is why even to this day, young budding would be stars usually get their start by starring in horror flicks. But I have to say, this film is a great example of how to make a great film on the cheap. It's all in the writing and FINALLY someone comes up with something original instead of rebooting, remaking, spinning off, etc. Anywho, great flick and I will be watching Zach Cregger closely. Maybe he'll fade away like Eli Roth or Richard Kelly or maybe he'll add a string of great flicks to his resume. I'm hoping for the latter.
