Screenwriter Ron Hutchinson talks to The Guardian about Brando and this notorious 1996 film. I have never actually braved watching this movie but after reading this, am once again tempted to do so...

I watched it because I like David Thewlis and wanted to see him in something where he actually gets decent screen time.
I watched it the second time because watching Brando in this is like driving by an accident on the highway. You know you'll be sorry you looked, but you can't help it.

Bad movie with a lot of bad history but worth checking for 2 reasons:
1 - Val Kilmer's hilarious impression of the Dr.
2 - Fairuza Balk's hypnotic dance number
I suppose that first shot of the CGI leopard guy leaping is worth it too, only for how incredibly terrible it looks and how flabbergasted you'll be that it ever got approved.
