Yes, the old switcheroo may have been a slight cliché but this is really how the end of The Force Awakens should also have gone down:-

i.e. The remote for the explosives set in Starkiller base should have failed and the senior statesman steps forward to make the ultimate sacrifice. A proper hero's send off instead of that nonsense we got in TFA...

We could also have had the same blown up picture idea and a bit of Aerosmith. Not a dry eye in the house for that ending 😢
