I think that it might be the colours that had a significance. She was dressed in a dark green blouse with an oval shape neckline and long sleeves, and what looked like a matching light green ruffled skirt. She wore pink gloves with a ketchup squeeze bottle (red) attached on the right one and a mustard squeeze bottle (yellow) on the left one.

Green: Nature

Pink: Sex and also symbol for the LGBTQ community, signifying empowerment and self-identity

Red: Life

Yellow: Sunlight

Using ketchup and mustard also mean something. There are even two cartoon characters named after these condiments: the 'wee' gay badgers Mustard & Ketchup. They live in a world where no stigma is attached to being gay, but where it is frowned upon to be a badger.
